Club Fitting FAQs

We believe that EVERY golfer can benefit from a club fitting and swing analysis. The higher the handicap the more important it is.
We have been custom fitting golfers since 1979 and strongly believe in our ability to improve your golf game. It has taken us years to attain the knowledge of fitting and the effects equipment has on different players games.
The goal of a fitting is get you to play your best golf with an honest evaluation of your equipment, not to sell you equipment. As such, we do not apply the fitting fee to a sale.
If you are physically able to hit a lot of golf shots over the course of a few hours, then yes. We generally recommend doing one fitting per day so each fitting is as accurate as possible.

All of our fittings are done by appointment to insure the best service for you.
Club fittings last about an hour with the exception of the Ultimate fitting, which will take up to 4 hours and the premier fit which will take up to 3 hours
We ask that you bring your golf bag with all of your current clubs so we can spec and analyze them. We also ask that you wear golf shoes or sneakers.
Pete’s Golf carries all major manufacturers as well as certain boutique manufacturers.

Equipment FAQ

As well as being a custom fitting facility, Pete’s Golf is also a custom building and repair shop.
We can reshaft irons, woods and putters.
Yes, we can regrip all of your clubs.
Most clubs can be adjusted for loft/lie, call the shop for more information.
Most putters can be adjusted and/or repaired, call the shop for more information.

Most grips can be saved and installed on a new set as long as the grips are relatively new an unused. Additional charges apply.
